  2. If you let your insurance lapse for whatever reason, it then becomes a real problem when trying to get another good car insurance rate leaving you with very high car insurance premiums later.
  3. If you get caught driving your car without and auto insurance, almost every state will take away your license for quite a while.
  4. If you driver your vehicle with out insurance and you injure someone, you could leave that person(s) with lifelong mental and bodily anguish that you will have to live with for the rest of your life.
  5. If you purposely drive for a long length of time you will have to re-apply for new insurance. This may not only be a big
hassle but you may have to tell a few “white” lies. If you falsify information the auto insurance provider may cancel your

be with any care for medical because there will be no liability insurance for you personally. Medical health care has gone
sky-high, just go check it out!
  8. If you drive your car without insurance, you can be liable personally from someone making a claim as a third party.
  9. With almost all automobile insurance companies, if you drive without insurance and get caught or in trouble, you will go
    right into the “high-risk” category!

Some Insurance History On Motor Vehicles.

Do you know how much the very first insurance policy cost? This was for “liability only” coverage and the auto insurance quote was for a cost of a whopping $11.25 for the premium! The Travelers Insurance Company that was located in Hartford, Connecticut issued it. The coverage was for between $5,000 and $10,000, again for liability only. A far cry from the auto insurance quotes that we receive today!

We bet you don’t know which company claims to be the oldest insurance company for motor vehicle in the United States? It turn out that the Amica Insurance company started supplying the public with auto insurance quotes way back in 1907. A man named A.T. Vigneron founded it. He envisioned that automobile was going to be the wave of the future and the building of cars would continue to grow. This meant that there was going to be the need for car insurance quotes provided to a vast array of potential new customers. His motto was to provide customers with exceptional service. Amica stands for Automobile Mutual Insurance company of America and has been a dynamic force in the history supplying you their potential customers with auto insurance quotes since then.

When you are looking for an auto insurance quote you might ask yourself: What is the average cost of an automobile insurance policy in the United States? It turns out that that average cost is $800 per year. So when you’re searching for car insurance quotes, you might want to keep that in mind. It definitely pays to do you shopping around. We advise you to never go off of just one quote. As was stated before, we urge you to seek and compare three to four quotes before you make a purchase!

Recent Car Insurance News

The Center for Disease Control Prevention recently came out with a study that showed that one-tenth of those people who had recently been drinking heavily or just recently came off of drinking binge, that roughly one half came from a bar, nightclub or restaurant and drove their vehicle. This has a direct affect on the auto insurance industry because the more lawsuits the higher the insurance rates climb! Every time that you go to get a car insurance quote you might find that it has gone up just a little bit to cover those costs.

One of the things that our team finds interesting is that car insurance companies are, because of the economy and lost jobs, preparing for and imposing rate hikes just in case their clients are going to be hit by uninsured motorists. There has been a little bit of opposition to this from people “in the know” but the general public is very unaware. This is something that all of us are going to pay for because of the economy. We should all be diligent about writing our congress about getting our economy fixed soon! Maybe getting good auto insurance quotes is not all we have to worry about.

Around the globe our team is finding that many countries are banning the use of cell phones while you are driving your vehicle. It stands to reason that there has been a sharp increase in the number of cell phone related accidents in the recent years. Did you know that insurance companies can deny coverage if you are found in violation of the law in these countries? It pays to read the fine print when you have just received an auto insurance quote, no matter what country you are in, right?

Skyrocketing gas prices has spurred a recent survey that says, in general, folks are driving far less than they used to. This translates into fewer accidents, which in turn means less injuries. Also, people are turning to buying more of the new hybrids, using more public transportation and car-pooling. Since this means there are fewer cars on the road we should eventually see less premium expense when we get an auto insurance quote; don’t you agree? If we all are careful about our use of these natural resources we might find that cheap auto insurance is within our reach.
