Consumer Reports tests gives the Nissan Altima a higher score than the Honda Accord in 2010. Last year it lacked that achievement because it lacked the standard stability control which has been added to all models for this year.

The Nissan Altima Has A Lot To Offer

The addition of the standard stability control, according to Consumer Reports, has put the Nissan Altima in a competive position with other top sedans. The new Altima comes with a restyled hood as well as a change in the grille and the front bumper. It also has a new wheel design. The 2010 Nissan Altima offers a new audio system allowing for an iPod. There is a new navigation system which offers a touch-screen display. The amazing thing about the 2010 Nissan Altima is that the price has not been changed.

Tough Consumer Guidelines A Car Must Meet

Consumer Reports base their selection according to the best all-around models in their categories based on performance, reliability, and safety. Each car goes through a road test. This consists of 50 different tests and evaluations. The reliability requires each car to have an average or better predicted-reliability rating. Each car must perform adequately in overall safety. The Consumer Reports top picks must provide standard ESC and curtain air bags. The 2010 Nissan Altima, according to Consumer Reports, has been one of the top-rated family sedans for a number of year. It states, “A freshening for 2010 made it better. It now gets improved gas mileage and provides standard ESC in all trim lines.” The gas mileage offers some of the best in its class. It is reported to get 26 mph overall for four-cylinder models and 24 mph in the V6.

The Nissan Altima offers style, beauty, and a great drive all at a great price.
