This is very common for people when getting quotes. They believe that if they don’t say anything about an accident or two that they had in the last three years, then nobody will ever know. Little do they know that a quote is only based off the information given. If you decide to go with the company, that is typically when reports are run, including a clue report. A clue report is a report that shows any claims that have gone against you. This obviously affects price because insurance is going to be more expensive with a claim/accident on the record than without one. Now some insurance companies run these reports at the time of the quote but many do not.

Whether you are or not, everything will come out once everything is sent through and gone through underwriting. You will be saving yourself a lot of trouble and heartache if you are upfront in the beginning.
